Pokemon Box |
Pokémon fans have always bemoaned the seemingly
tiny storage capacity of the Game Boy® Advance game cartridges after all, you
could only save in one slot, and you could only save a certain number of Pokémon in your
boxes.
Along comes
a new innovation from the makers of the Pokémon video games a device called the
Pokémon Box that will allow you to hold up to 1500 Pokémon® characters in different
stylized rooms, or boxes. Using a combination of the Nintendo GameCube
disc drive and a specialized Nintendo GameCube memory card, this innovative new device is
perfect for catching all of the Pokémon in both games.
In addition
to the storage enhancement, you can also play Pokémon Ruby or Pokémon Sapphire directly
on your TV through a special built-in game feature. Now you can splash Swampert over a
full size television set, or bust out Blaziken in full, glorious color!

The different setups are also very detailed, so you can see your captured Pokémon in
rows of scientific-looking test tubes, lined up like some imperial army, or just
transfixed to wooden signposts (check out the pictures for more clarification).
We don't want to Box ourselves in with a release date just yet, but get ready to rock
the Box when it does hit.
