  bullet.gif (160 bytes) Meowth's Party

Another fine example of what the GCN is capable of, Meowth's Party would astound Pokemon lovers everywhere.

The fluidity of the characters is brilliant, they move smoothly and seamlessly, and the animation is excellent, far better than anything on Pokemon Stadium! As with Luigi's Mansion, the lighting effects are excellent, each Pokemon has dynamic shadows depending on it's position, and the Pokemon look almost realistic.

Meowth is on stage playing an electric guitar, surrounded by hordes of other Pokemon, from Electabuzzes to Squirtles! The demo handled them all dancing and Meowth jumping up and down without any slowdown, and the high quality of graphics was maintained throughout. The lighting effects were also excellent, with a beautifully rendered spotlight over Meowth. This may only be a demo, but Pokemon has evolved, and the next game is going to be something special!
